... and the Bullshit Award goes to....

This whole United Airlines dragging incident has really been something. I totally support #BoycottUnited. Liberals tend to believe that conservatives want big business to always win. First, let me address that misconception.

Conservatives believe in getting people jobs. When a very large company folds, like an airline, that means a lot of people are going to be out of work. Taxpayers cannot afford to pay unemployment to thousands of extra people in one fell swoop. It affects local economies and so forth. Conservatives will usually prefer to spend money to keep a business afloat because it's cheaper than paying for unemployment for all those people. It's a simple thing to understand but liberals can't seem to figure out how a checkbook works.

Another misconception that liberals spread is that conservatives aren't interested in personal rights. Au contraire. In fact, we exceptionally support individual rights. What liberals don't seem to understand is that we believe all people are created equal. What we don't believe is in group rights. For example, we don't believe a group should have more rights over any individual. Let's take Affirmative Action, as our best example. We do not believe that a hispanic female should get a job with less qualification than a black female, or a white female or a hispanic male or a black male or a white male. Whomever is best qualified, period, deserves the job. It's equality for each person, not a group of one race and gender or simply race.

Now that you understand, it should be simple to understand why - despite what liberals are saying - conservatives are supporting #BoycottUnited. An individual was beaten. It does not matter what his race is. It does not matter if he is gay. What matters is that a man was beaten simply because he wanted to sit in the seat that he paid for, while United employees stood by and watched.

The right to properly vet incoming immigrants.

I am astonished with how the left is angry about this. Why? It is for our safety and they are not being denied entry. I personally believe we have a responsibility to help those in need. That does not mean that I want them in my home if I don't know who they are. Helping is one thing, but allowing them in is another. At least, until we get to know them first.

Here is my challenge for all of those making complaints. Go out, find someone on the streets homeless and bring them into your house. I dare you! If you refuse, because you will, it will prove my point. You don't want strangers in your home, well neither do I! My country is also my home, thank you.

I also have problems with Arab states complaining about our policy. Why are they taking all of them in? After all, they are their own people! The audacity that another nation thinks they have the right to complain about our policies is laughable at best. Especially since these are refugees coming out of the Middle East, the very place where nations are complaining.

Besides, if ISIS is getting angry, then clearly Trump is doing the right thing. This means that ISIS is angry that they cannot get in.

I have only one article to suggest you read, but really, this one is a doozy. Wait until you see what Breitbart obtained regarding ISIS.

Liberals now advocate fighting? Where did their tolerance go?

I remember quite clearly how we were all told to get over it when Obama won. I remember how any complaint we made was answered by accusing us of racism or intolerance. I remember how liberals accused us of being violent when absolutely zero violence was ever called for that I am aware of. When I say that, I mean in a national or global way, not some weirdo in Idaho, for example.

Today however, as we watch the Liberal empire crumble before us, we see them now saying that they want to fight us. Yes, an actual Senator, named Tim, from Virginia has decided that the vote of the people no longer matters. He said and I quote, "What we’ve got to do is fight in Congress, fight in the courts, fight in the streets, fight online, fight at the ballot box, and now there’s the momentum to be able to do this."

My response to Tim is this and maybe I'll even try and email him with these exact words:

Hollywood Unhinged

I have been watching Hollywood crumble before us on the news. They shout obscenities and make threats of bombs, they rip their shirts off and they openly make statements condemning what Trump is doing. The man fairly elected by the people, for the people.

They are imploding right before us. Throwing temper tantrums for not getting their way, screaming into the camera thinking that we even care what they think. The thing is, this country absolutely does NOT care what they think nor what they say. I am a nobody and I have my own brain. I am sick of liberals calling me a racist when they don't even know me! I am sick of liberals thinking we're full of hate when in fact, they are the ones physically attacking us.

Liberal hypocrisy.

Calexit is very welcomed to a lot of us, but don't forget that there are conservatives living there too. My husband is one of them and a lot of our friends out there as well. In fact, I don't know a single liberal in California that I know of. They're all conservatives of varying types (Republicans, Libertarians, etc.).

However, I wanted to remind liberals about something that they seem to have forgotten. Let's read this little opine from Susan Milligan, a "senior writer" for US News. In the full article, she is talking about when Texas, Alabama and Florida wanted to secede as Obama took office. Then comes this part, I kid you not!
12 November 2012
From: "Let 'Em Secede"

We live in a country with diverse political opinions, as well as a diverse racial and ethnic makeup. It's logical that a number of people might be deeply disappointed that their candidate did not win. It is not logical to be so convinced that American civilization as we know it will dissolve that one would actually advocate dissolving the union itself. But hey, if things are that bad, take the advice of the candidate who came in second in the presidential contest. Just self-deport
Just self-deport? Really? She even calls it illogical to dissolve the union over losing the presidency. So what is she saying now? Is she saying that California is illogical for wanting to dissolve the union over losing the presidency? Of course not! Instead, she is attacking Trump calling him "dangerous" and labels pro-lifers as "anti-abortionists" and says that gay rights activists have no hope at all. Excuse me? Where does she get that?

I am so incensed that I am writing a letter to the editor. I'm going to point this very thing out to them and let us see if it gets published. My guess? It won't.

Unfortunately I wanted to paste here what I wrote but for some reason it didn't copy precisely and I hit submit before checking. Bad Cindy! I'm sorry I cannot share it with you.

Some of you may believe I'm wrong for picking only on Sue but how could I possibly address them all? Hers was at the top of the search list so I went with her.

I'll be looking at more of these in the coming days.

What do you think about the hypocrisy? Let me know in the comments!

Welcome and about me.

Hello and welcome to my politics blog. I have decided to separate my politics with that of my rambling blog. You see, I was raised that there were two things you didn't talk about with friends. One was religion and the other politics. People have very strong views of both and I thought that I'd dedicate a separate blog to discuss politics so if you don't like what I have to say, you can ignore it without having to sacrifice reading my rambling blog. Eventually (and that means I have no idea when) I plan to move all my political posts here from my other blog.
